History

The 18-hole Los Verdes Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA is a public golf course that opened in 1964. Designed by William F. Bell, Los Verdes Golf Course measures 6617 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 126 and a 72.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are poanna grass and the fairways are kikuyu grass. Though the conditioning might not meet the standard of a private club, Los Verdes is an old-school design worth playing for its stunning views of the Pacific and of Catalina Island.
